Our mission

Building robots, leaders, and community.

We use FRC as a platform to explore engineering, grow leadership, and make STEM more accessible on our campus.

Inspire

Turning curiosity into confidence.

We don't expect members to join with years of experience. We expect them to show up curious. From the first week, new students get hands-on with tools, code, and robots in a safe, mentored environment.

Onboarding labs

Short build and code challenges that take an idea from sketch to working prototype in a single meeting.

Mini-lessons

Officers and mentors teach topics like "how to read a wiring diagram" or "what PID actually does" in 10–15 minutes.

Shadow days

New members sit with an experienced student during real work sessions to see how the team runs.

Engineer

From whiteboard sketch to competition robot.

Our build process is structured like a real engineering pipeline. Every week, the robot moves further along the path from idea → CAD → prototype → final system.

Week 1 · Game Breakdown0%

Strategy meeting, whiteboard sketches, and deciding what our robot will and won't do on the field.

Weeks 2–3 · CAD & Prototyping0%

CAD models, cardboard mockups, and rapid-fire prototypes to decide on intakes, shooters, and drivetrains.

Weeks 4–5 · Build & Wiring0%

CNC parts, assembly, clean electrical layout, and first full-robot power-on tests.

Weeks 6+ · Tuning & Drive Practice0%

Autonomous routines, vision tuning, driver practice, and "break it now so it won't break on the field."

Collaborate

Subteams that move as one robot.

Each subteam owns a part of the robot — but nothing ships unless everyone is in sync. Weekly syncs, shared documentation, and cross-training keep the whole machine moving.

Compete

Where all the late nights pay off.

Competition is where we stress-test everything: our robot, our systems, and our teamwork. We show up early, stay late, and treat every match as a data point.

Member FAQ

What is FRC?

The FIRST Robotics Competition is an international high school contest where teams design, build, and drive a robot to play a new game each season.

How much experience do I need?

None. We ask for curiosity and a willingness to learn. Onboarding labs, mini-lessons, and shadow days get new members up to speed.

What if I'm not into engineering?

Our Outreach & Media subteam handles sponsorship, social media, branding, and community events — and the robot doesn't ship without them.
